Down and Up by Max Fatchen is a unique poem in the way it is set and I think that is what the author was going for.
The poem is about reading words that go down and up on the page so that the poem demonstrates down and up by the look of it.
This is a fantastic poem and can be read by children in Kinder and Year 1 but also be a laugh for anyone including adults.
